View our site on your Cell Phone or PDA

You can now access the most news-worthy sections of the Media Campaign web site from handheld computers and Internet-enabled wireless phones. This new feature provides concise versions of the About, What's New, and Newsroom sections. Full and complete versions of these sections can still be found on the Media Campaign site using traditional browsers.

Below are instructions on how to view the new feature using mobile communication devices.


Mobile Computing Device

Personal Digital Assistant Viewing our MOBILE WEB ACCESS site using your Mobile Computing Device:

  1. Go to your favorite PDA content portal or software instance.
  2. Add or subscribe a new channel using the specified menu option.
  3. Enter the following channel:

handheld/
(as one line)

After completing the subscription, the site will appear on your PDA after you synchronize the device to your standard PC.

If your device has a built-in modem that does not require a subscription or synchronization, simply enter into your browser's location or URL field:

http://www.mediacampaign.org/
handheld/
(as one line)

NOTE: The PDA version can also be viewed in standard web browsers without the need for third party software. See


Digital Cellular Phone

Phone Viewing our MOBILE WEB ACCESS site using your Digital Cellular Phone:

  1. Locate the menu on your phone that allows you enter new web adddresses. Often it is called: "Go URL" or "Go."
  2. Enter into your phone browser's location or URL:

(as one line)

There are two different methods to bookmark the site. Most users have access to only one of these methods.

  1. Using your standard PC, go to your wireless provider's web site and log in to your account as if to edit your preferences and enter the following URL:
    http://www.mediacampaign.org/
    wireless/
    (as one line)

    After adding the URL, the site should appear on your phone's bookmarks the next time you use your phone.

  2. See the manual for your phone for directions on how to add bookmarks. At some point in this process you will need to enter the following URL:
    http://www.mediacampaign.org/
    wireless/
    (as one line)

NOTE: The WAP/WML version cannot be viewed in most standard web browsers without third party software.
