Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP)
ONDCP coordinates Federal, State, and local efforts to control illegal drug abuse, and devises national strategies to effectively carry out anti-drug activities. With Congressional support ONDCP launched the Media Campaign in 1998.
Partnership for a Drug-Free America (PDFA)
PDFA is a non-profit coalition of professionals from the communications industry, is overseeing and implementing the creation of paid advertising used in the campaign. The Partnership has run a highly acclaimed national anti-drug advertising campaign since 1987.
The Advertising Council, Inc.
The Ad Council is the nation's largest provider of public service communications, will serve as the clearinghouse for national and local Public Service Announcements (PSAs) submitted by non-profit groups for consideration as part of the media match. They will screen all ads submitted and ensure that they fit within the overall communication strategy, and meet all broadcast and print quality standards.
